2. Finishing up, coloring and completing self assessment.
3. Turn in original small image, final enlarged image, rubric with completed self assessment.
4. HW: Take home if you did not finish – due Monday 🙂

MATH 7/8:

1. Check CRYPTIC QUIZ graphs
2. Introduce STANDARD form!! Examples given in class on how to remove fractions and decimals from equations.
3. CW: Bulls Eye problems and 5 graphs
4. HW: FINISH AT HOME IF NEEDED

1. SCALE FACTOR PROJECT day #2
2. Large Sheets grid complete with new scale factor
3. Students began/finished replicating original image as enlarged image in pencil.
4. HW: If pencil enlargement is not complete, students need to finish at home!

MATH 7/8:

1. Check Intecepts work shown
2. CW: Cryptic Quiz ws to practice re-writing equations in slope intercept form.  Graphing required.
3. HW: Finish CW if needed.

1. SCALE FACTOR project DAY #1
2. Grid original image with 1cm x 1cm lines
3. Measure Large Paper in cm and compare dimensions of small image to large paper to determine appropriate scale factor.
4. HW: None tonight – project due end of class Friday!!

MATH 7/8:

1. Introduce the 3 types of solutions with systems of linear equations.
2. CW: to finish for HW: if needed
3. Packet – riddle to find x & y intercepts.
4. HW: Only if you didn’t finish in class.

3. HW: Students will bring a picture from home no larger than a NOTE CARD.  May be black and white, cut out from magazine or newspaper or printed from computer.

1. CALENDAR MATH PROJECT – DAY 3 (last day)
2. If not finished, students were directed to finish at home.  They either copied to a flash drive or emailed the project to themselves.  Some students stated they wanted to come to school early tomorrow to finish in Media Computer Lab.\
3. RUBRIC GIVEN with grading criteria.

CALENDAR MATH PROJECT DAY 2

• classes met in lab to create calendars.
• Student work checked for 31 problems with work shown step by step.
• HW: None …….UNLESS you did not follow directions for step by step equation work!  Project due at end of class Monday.

• Checked and graded study guide for TEST
• Linear Equation GOLF review
• HW: Study and prepare for UNIT 9 TEST on Monday!!

Milestones Testing is OVER!!!!

MATH 7:

1. Introduce new PROJECT: CALENDAR MATH
2. DUE on Monday April 25th.  In computer lab both Friday and Monday to complete visual calendar display.
3. CW: Today in class, students work #1-31 equations on notebook paper showing each step in detail.
4. WE WILL BE IN COMPUTER LAB both Friday and Monday
5. HW: All 31 problems due by class on Friday.

MATH 7/8:
