Last Week of School

It has been a wonderful privilege to teach your child this year! I am proud of the growth that each student has made both academically and personally! Thank you so much for your support this year! Please see the following reminders and information for our last week!


Classroom Materials

Students will be taking home their classroom materials on Monday. If possible, please send an extra bag with students in case they do not have enough room in their book bag. Any remaining materials will be sent home on Tuesday.


End of Year Reminders

Please be sure to send in a self-addressed 8 1/2x 11 envelope with 4 stamps. ASP, library, and cafeteria fines must be paid in order for your child to receive their report card. No bookbags are allowed on Wednesday.

Summer Reading

Students have visited Mrs. Crosby to learn about their summer reading challenge! Students have received a bookmark with information on how to log their minutes into Biblionasium! Students who meet the summer reading challenge will earn a prize when they return back to school! Please have your child read everyday to maintain their reading level!


Math Facts

Please continue to have your child practice their math facts over the summer. Students will need to know their facts for 4th grade!


End of Year Envelopes

Please send a 8 1/2 x 11 self addressed envelope with 4 stamps by May 18th. This envelope will be used for your child’s report card and other important end of the year papers. If your child has outstanding balances for ASP, the media center, or the cafeteria, their report card will be held until the balances are paid.

Students are allowed to wear a Teasley or their 3rd Grade T-shirt with standard attire pants. Please do not forget to send a lunch with your child if you indicated that choice on your form!


Field Day

Students can wear their Field Day T-shirts or their Third Grade T-shirts.  Students can also wear a navy blue shirt. Please do not wear field day shirts until Friday, May 11th. Please be sure that your child has sunscreen already applied and brings a water bottle with their name on it. Students are also allowed to bring a hat for sun protection. Make sure your child has tennis shoes on! Sign up to volunteer below:

Intent Forms

Just a reminder that intent forms for next school year are due on Monday, April 30th. Please be sure to return these or your child will not be placed on a class list for next year. Don’t forget to include residency updates as well.


Lost and Found

Teasley’s Lost and Found is full.
All unclaimed clothing and other items will be donated to a local charity Friday, May 4th


Academic Alerts

Academic alerts for Reading and math were sent home on Tuesday (on green paper). These are only for students who currently have a 1 in reading or math. Please sign and return if your child received one.


Multiplication Facts

The last day to take multiplication tests will be on Thursday, May 10th. Students will have the opportunity to take tests on the computer or paper/pencil. It is the responsibility of the student to ask for the test that they need by signing up on the board.

Snowman House

Please take a look at your child’s Seesaw to see their snowman house! We learned about insulators, and students were challenged to build a house that would not melt their snowman (ice cube)!



Please be sure to return Field Trip permission slips and payment. These are on a yellow form and are due Friday, April 27th. Please also return Intent forms for next school year. These are on pink paper and are due Monday, April 30th.


End of Year Expectations

In our morning meetings this week, our class created an End of Year Contract. These were the following guidelines:

  1. Be happy! Have a positive attitude!
  2. Follow directions the first time.
  3. Change the behavior if given a warning.
  4. Take responsibility for your actions.

Students signed this contract to show they understand and will follow the guidelines.


Field Day
