I hope everyone has had a great start to the Spring season! We are only one week away from Spring Break (April 2-8) We still have lots of fun learning left to do!
Report cards were sent home last week. I have received most of the envelopes back and signed (thank you!) but if you have not already, please sign it and return as soon as you can. Also, if you have any questions regarding your child’s report card, please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. I am so pleased with all of the progress each student has shown and I am excited to see the growth continue for the next couple months of school 🙂
As always, thank you for your help at home with your student. Please keep that up! Sight words, counting and reading are always so beneficial to practice and to continue learning 🙂
Some updates on what we are learning in the classroom:
Math: Addition and Subtraction within 10. Key focus on numbers 8 & 9 this week (decomposing)
Writing/ Science: Planting seeds and how to grow plants. Writing about our process of planting and our observations.
Reading/ Phonics: “Sh” digraph of the week. Continuing reading leveled texts, focusing on main idea and cause and effect.
