Tutoring is offered by Ms. Kindred on Tuesdays, Ms. Ekwuocha on Wednesdays and Ms. Misad on Thursdays. Tutoring will be from 8:15 – 8:50 on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings and one after school session on Thursdays until 5:15. Students should report to the cafeteria (no later than 8:15) and wait for either Ms. Kindred or Ms. Ekwuocha to pick them up to take them to our respective rooms. Same procedure on Thursday after dismissal to wait for Ms. Misad. All three of us can tutor 8th grade math.
Quizzes and Tests may be retaken within 4 weeks of the initial date issued. The re-takes are given during our tutoring hours. The highest grade earned will be what is entered in the gradebook.
If a student is absent on a Friday, the missed quiz/test must be made up during tutoring hours.
Hello parents. Students are given an assignment daily. There is rarely ever enough time to complete the assignment in class….it is expected to be completed for HOMEWORK. Fridays are the only days when there are no assignment issued (quiz/test day). Please ask your child to complete their assignments each night. The practice is needed to succeed in Math 8.
