Children’s Show Saturday, September 14th

Come see Sprayberry’s Children Show, OLD DRY FRYE this Saturday, September 14th. It’s a funny play about a preacher who loves fried chicken to death and teaches the lesson to share.

Show times are: 10 am, 11:45 am, 1:15pm, and 2:45 pm.

Tickets are $5 for students and $8 for adults. Cobb county employees get in free. The show last about 40 minutes. See you there!

Sprayberry’s Drama Department will present The Crucible Friday, April 26th at 7 pm and Saturday, April 27th at 2pm and 7pm in the Theatre. Tickets are only $5 for students and $8 for adults.

Drama Banquet May 4th

May the 4th Be With You!

Come celebrate with us as we look back over the year, look ahead, welcome our new student board, and celebrate our departing seniors.

The Drama Department’s Banquet is May 4th at 6 pm at Piedmont Church. Tickets are $18/person which includes dinner (Italian). Please turn in your money by Friday, April 12th. Our theme is a Masquerade Ball. Our colors are black, white, gold, and silver. We will make masks during class. Parents may dress causal.

Thescon Schedule

Depart Sprayberry Thursday, February 7th

Arrive at Sprayberry 8-8:30am. Check in with Middlebrooks in the Black Box.

Department the student parking lot (back parking lot) at 9am.

Arrive Back Sprayberry Saturday, February 9th

  • Closing Number ends at 5pm
  • Meet at cars between 5:15-5:30pm
  • Leave River Center at 5:30pm
  • Arrive back at Sprayberry around 7:30pm in the student parking lot (back parking lot).

Notes and Tips:

  • Parents, if you need to contact your student, please reach out to them at the end of the hour because most shows will require students to turn off their cell phones due to interference with the microphone.
  • Students will need pocket money, but all meals, other than Thursday’s lunch is included in the cost.
  • Students will need an umbrella and a coat. Students should dress in layers since they will be walking outside and most workshop are active.
  • Students must wear their name badges at all times.
  • No drugs or alcohol are allowed
  • Parents, you can download Guidebook, and review the workshops, shows, and even see the meal times. Guidebook is a phone app.
