Hi! My name is Mrs. Falvo, and I am very excited to have you as a 5th grade student here at Cheatham Hill Elementary. I am thrilled to be your teacher, and I am looking forward to a year of learning, fun, and adventures. I can’t wait to learn all about you, but first I’ll tell you a little about me.
I have lived in the state of Georgia for 4 years. I moved here from my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania after I got married. I have been married to my amazing husband named Michael for 4 years. We have two “fur”daughters named Bellamy (who is 4 years old) Harper (who is 3 years old) and Bandit (who is 3 years old) . I am also an aunt to four nephews (Michael Daniel, Jake, Ricky, and Ethan) and two nieces (Morgan and Evelyn). I love spending time with my family any chance I get.
I attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania and Waynesburg University where I received my teaching degrees. I have been teaching for 15 years. I have taught grades 5th-12th, the last 5 years here in 5th grade at Cheatham Hill. I have always wanted to be a teacher, so I am very lucky to be able to fulfill my childhood dream.
I enjoy traveling and getting to spend time with my friends and family. This summer, I went home to Pittsburgh to visit family. I was also lucky enough to travel to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was a beautiful vacation. I am also a huge Pittsburgh sports team fan (Steelers, Penguins, Pirates) so my husband and I spend a lot of time cheering on our favorite teams. Don’t worry, I also cheer for all the teams in Atlanta (as long as they are not playing a team from Pittsburgh.)
That’s just a little bit about me for now. I look forward to spending this year with you and making your last year here at Cheatham Hill one to remember!
