Last week students were provided with the study guide for our constructive and destructive forces test which will be Thursday, October 4th during our regular science class. Below you will find a copy of the study guide along with the information needed to complete them (previously provided in class, students should have all the information in their science journals as well).Any student who completes and returns their study guide on the day of the test will receive bonus points on their final test grade. No study guides will be accepted late and incomplete study guides will not garner any extra credit points. Students may attach additional work to their study guide. Good luck!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful and restful break, see you in a week!
Multicultural Night is coming up next Thursday, September 20th. Our class will be sponsoring the Mexico table!
We have been learning about non-fiction text features and structures and this wonderful event gives us an excellent opportunity to utilize the knowledge we have gained by researching Mexican culture, history and daily life. We will work together to build our display for the big event. Family contributions to display or give to our visitors would be greatly appreciated as well however there is absolutely no obligation at all. Ms. O’Connell and I will both “work” the table at multicultural night and would love to have some student helpers for the night as well; please email me if your student would like to help out. We would also love to see all of our families participating in this exciting learning event. Hope to see you there, ADIOS!
Considering the current weather situation with Hurricane Florence we are looking at flood control in the final part of our constructive and destructive forces unit (test date and study guide coming soon). Below is a link for kids to explore vocabulary and engineering solutions.
