Meet Mrs. Sandlin

Hello everyone!

My name is Mrs. Sandlin and I will be your third grade teacher this year! Let me tell you a little about myself. I have wanted to be a teacher ever since I was in third grade! I taught first grade in the past, but I have found my home in third grade where I have been ever since. I’ve taught at Brown Elementary, Smyrna Elementary, and now Pitner Elementary where I hope to stay for a very long time. I enjoy teaching all subjects, but Reading, Math, and Science are my favorites. I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S in Early Childhood Education. I obtained my M.Ed from Thomas University in Reading Education, and I am currently finishing my Ed.S in Reading Education from Georgia Southern University this Spring (YAY!). I love learning new things and am always wanting to try something new! I love to paint, play guitar, play with my two pet bunnies (Flora and Lionel), and make teacher resources in my spare time. My husband and I also love to travel and spend time outdoors. I look forward to getting to know you this year and cannot wait to see you grow from the first day of school to the last.

See you soon,

Mrs. Sandlin
