Would you survive?

Hi Parents,

So far this week, we have learned all about the conditions the pilgrims endured while traveling on the Mayflower. We learned that most of their meals consisted of dried/salted meats, dry biscuits, mashed peas, hard cheeses from Holland, and even beer (since the water they brought turned stale).

**Don’t worry parents, I told them how GROSS that would have been for the kids and how we don’t dare touch adult drinks.**

We tried dried biscuits and salted meat today- we learned that 11 out of our 21 students did not like the meal. I think Tevon’s face says it all- it was not what we expected! We would not have survived the journey!!

Ask your child what they thought about the dried biscuits and salted meat!

My heart is full

Hello parents,

I know it has been a while since conferences but our wonderful administration sent some of the wonderful comments you stated in the survey. I cannot express how full my heart is with all of your kind words.

I don’t know what I did to deserve such a wonderful class and such supportive parents, but I sure am thankful.

Thank you again,

Mrs. T
