Week 5 Digital Learning April 20th-24th

Welcome to Week #5 of Digital Learning!

We are still learning and working hard despite the change in location of the classroom. Mrs. Bruening and I are so pleased with the participation in assignments as well as the attendance in our zoom meeting. Students keep up the good work. Thank you so much parents for your support during this digital learning phase! I believe we have the BEST parents and students at CHES!  As you know we are here to assist in any way we can, so just let us know how we can help.

Here is the pacing guide for this week. —> Week-5-Digital-Learning-Pacing-Guide-April-13th-17th  Just in case, here is the Math 4 Today review sheet as well.  —> Math4Today-Week27

Math Zoom Lesson: This week our Zoom meeting is a math lesson. It will be held on Monday at 10:30. An email has been sent as well as a message on Seesaw with all the information you will need for the meeting.

Students should have a protractor, if you do not have one, click the link Print a Protractor (1) and the measuring-angles (click the link) sheets printed to participate. Again if students do not have these materials, that’s okay, they should still attend the lesson and can watch and ask questions about measuring angles.

That’s all for now. Enjoy the rest of the day with your families!

Week #4 – Digital Learning

Welcome to Week#4 of Digital Learning!

We hope you had a restful Spring Break, last week. Hopefully it was extremely nice to unplug and spend time relaxing with your family during these interesting times.

The only change you will see on the pacing guide is, from now on, Friday is a full make-up day per the county. So you will not see any assignments posted for Friday from now on. We are still available to answer any questions and navigate you through digital learning on Fridays, if you have any questions.

Small group zoom calls will continue as well. We will email/text you to let you know the day prior of the day/time of the call.

(NEW) FlipGrid website —-> https://info.flipgrid.com/

So we were looking for ways to have the students to connect with each other and FlipGrid is a great site! Here is a video for students explaining how it works. —> FlipGrid Video for Students  We will complete a FlipGrid activity NEXT WEEK. Just want the kids to know what’s coming!
