Activity #2: Please watch the movie of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind on Netflix.  Remember that the movie version of a story will always differ from the book in some ways, and not every detail can be included.

Activity #3: Reflection of the movie:  What parts of the movie stood out to you the most? Why?  What Ah,ha! moments did you have while watching?  How did this story shift your global perspective?

Activity #1: Your Windmill Comes to Life! –  Please read the directions on the link below.  If you do not have the materials to build a windmill feel free to draw out a picture of what your windmill would look like.  Regardless of how you choose to create your windmill, please explain and label the materials you used and why you selected them.  Remember to use your F2OE, think creatively, and be innovative!  Don’t forget to share a picture of your work with your Target teacher. Please “meet” with your research team in Office 365 to compare notes and “chat” about your findings.  Please remember to share work, new ideas, drafts, and conversations with Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Westbrook in Office 365 so we can check your progress at the end of the day.
