All STEM activities, this week, will be completed utilizing Seesaw. Students may prefer to print the template and post a photo to Seesaw instead of drawing/typing directly in Seesaw. Look for your grade level below and then find the task in the Activities tab in Seesaw. I can’t wait to see and hear your creativity! ūüéÉ

In the Power Point below, please find a video of how to access Flipgrid and complete your video response. Simply access Flipgrid via the app or Chrome. Please note that the join code and username are both lower case words. This will be your Flipgrid login for STEM Bettes for the remainder of this school year. Make certain to change your name before submitting your finalized video response. Grade level instructions are within each Flipgrid.

GRADES 3-5:

This PDF may take a minute to load, please be patient. The document provides instruction on how to join the Nearpod Session with Ms. Bettes. Scroll through the pages and follow the instructions. Access www.nearpod.com, in the code box type in IYVEW. Next type your first and last name in the top name box only and then click Join Lesson. The instructions for the self-paced Nearpod assignment are also included if you miss our class or have technology issues.

There will be a variety of videos, links, and instructions on how to access and complete the activity. Look for your specific grade level to find your activity. Grades 2-5 click this link STEM Lab Form to complete the Form. Choose or fill in your answers and then submit. If you are asked to sign in, use your Office 365 log in (first name.last name@students.cobbk12.org) and last year’s password. If you are new to Sope Creek use password 123.

You will virtually build vehicles that can travel on other planets, like Mars. Recently, NASA launched a vehicle named the Perseverance for exploring the planet Mars. What will your vehicle look like and how will it move?
