ALP students are showing their spirit today for Pajama Day — it’s in honor of Read for the Record, a record-setting effort to get as many students as possible to read together today. We’re all enjoying Anne Dewdney’s Llama Llama Red Pajama, a rhyming book about finding the best way to get attention and learning it’s not always the most dramatic. She’s online @ http://www.annadewdney.com/Annas_website/Home.html.
Read for the Record is online @ http://www.jstart.org/site/PageServer?pagename=rftr_homepage and we’re doing our best to put Cobb County Schools, and of course, Norton Park Elementary and our awesome Eagles, on the map with our record-reading today.
If you want to share in the story with your children today, and tonight after school, it’s available free of charge online @ http://www.wegivebooks.org/books/llama-llama-red-pajama—r4tr-english and in Spanish @ http://www.wegivebooks.org/books/llama-llama-red-pajama—r4tr-spanish.
Here’s a look at our morning! Thanks to all students who showed spirit by wearing their pajamas today! 🙂
