Planning for Valentine’s Day

We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14, 2018!

I know students love to bring in Valentine’s cards, treats, and/or trinkets to exchange with their friends. Students are welcome to do this as long as they bring one for everyone in our class. I would like to suggest that students simply put their name (from) on their cards and/or treats and leave the “to” blank; that way they can just drop one in everyone’s Valentine’s Box on Valentine’s Day. We have 30 students in our class, and closer to time, I will send home in your student’s Friday Folder this note, in addition to a class list (just in case!). Students, please bring in your treats on the 14th (no earlier please!).

I am requesting that students bring in a Valentine’s box (ex. shoe box or cereal box) with their name displayed prominently on the front. Please bring in your box on Tuesday, February 13th (no earlier please!). Target students may bring their box on the 14th or run it by our classroom the morning of the 13th. Students are free to be creative and decorate their Valentine’s Day box at home.

 Thank you for your support!

 Love, Ms. Jones
