Happily, we just finished a healthy week!

We’ll exchange valentines on Wednesday and have a special treat! We’ll also have a special STEM activity where we’ll need a big supply of Necco Sweethearts conversational hearts to stack and measure. Thank you ahead of time. 🙂

Weekly Newsletter ~ February 5

Dear Families,

We anticipated a normal week and then the flu and other illnesses hit. We had 4-5 children out each day except Friday, with only 1 absence. So maybe NEXT week will be normal!

There are 2 weeks before our February break, and we’ll be busy with fractions, the colonies, and opinion writing which the children are enjoying. I’ll send home the Valentine’s Day class list next week. Each child should address a valentine to every classmate and then we’ll exchange them on Wednesday the 14th. It’s so much fun!
