First Week of Third Grade

Dear Families,

We enjoyed meeting all of you at Meet & Greet, and are looking forward to a marvelous year!

A few reminders for the children:

Get a good night’s sleep.
Bring a snack.
Remind parents to complete paperwork.
Be ready for some learning fun!

We’ll be setting the stage this short week. Much time will be spent organizing our materials, learning and practicing new routines and procedures, creating rules, and getting to know each other. Teamwork is a major focus so we’ll do some fun team-building activities.

If you haven’t already brought in supplies, please do so within the first week so we can get busy using them. And remember to have your child bring in a snack daily so that hunger doesn’t get in the way of learning.

Send in a note letting us know any transportation changes.

No homework for children this week. 🙂
