Class News ~ March 2

Dr SeussDear Families,

We have a great beginning to our week on Monday with our Read Across America Celebration, and celebrating Dr. Seuss AND Mrs. Mann’s birthdays! We’re so proud that Kincaid has met the million words reading goal for this year, and we’re thinking our class has been such a huge contributor! Remember that children can wear pajamas and bring a stuffed animal for this special day!

Our learning plan:

  • Reading ~ Peter Pan culminating activities and assessment
  • Writing ~ Publishing opinion writing and reading responses
  • Language Arts ~ Sentences
  • Math ~ Measurement, problem solving
  • Social Studies ~ Economics

Homework:

  • 20 minutes of reading, MyOn or books
  • 10 minutes of multiplication/division facts practice

Donations of Lysol disinfecting spray, Clorox wipes, and hand sanitizer are needed in our germ-fighting program. You can be assured we remind the children of the importance of handwashing, tissue use, sneezing/coughing into elbows and keeping hands away from the mouth. 👌

Have a good weekend!

Mrs. P. & Mrs. M.
