Silent Auction Registration

Please register for the Silent Auction today!  Just text MVES17 to 24-700 to get registered.  It will ask you for your credit card information (if you have not registered before).  Your credit card will not be charged unless you are the winning bidder of an item.  When you register, you will be able to see all of the items we have up for bid on our website.  The bidding starts October, 1st and will close at 10:00 pm on October 13th, after the Fall Festival!

Marietta Martial Arts Spirit Night

Spirit Night at Marietta Martial Arts – Kung Fu Panda Night

Our Partner in Education, Marietta Martial Arts, is offering a Parent’s Night Out for Mountain View students.  100% of the proceeds will be donated back to Mountain View!  The event will be on Friday, April 28th from 6-9:30 pm at MMA’s newest location at Shallowford and Johnson Ferry next to Publix.  Students will play exciting Kung Fu Panda themed games, eat pizza, and can come dressed as their favorite character.  MMA will donate all of the fees back to Mountain View and the cost is only $20 for the 1st family member, $10 for the second, and $5 for the third or more.  All Mountain View students are invited to join in the fun!

Milestones Testing Reminder

Please be reminded that for students in grades 3rd, 4th & 5th, Milestones testing takes place Wednesday, April 19th through Tuesday, April 25th.  5th grade students only will continue to test April 26th and 27th.  Please note that for all seven days of testing, the building is closed to all visitors, including parents, until all testing sessions are complete.  The front office will continue to be available to assist you with your needs.

Also, on each day of testing, please be sure your child is well rested, has a good breakfast and is on time to school.

We received the following information from Cobb County DOT: “Davis Road, between Holly Springs Road and Sandy Plains Road, will be closed April 3 – July 3, for roadway improvements necessary due to relocation of Mountain View ES. We apologize for the impact to bus routes during the end of this school year. However, fortunately, the detour route is a short one – Holly Springs Road to Sandy Plains Road. “
