WATCH FIRST- Today’s Lesson Video

Assignment:  Argument Unit Terms PowerPoint Slides (5 terms- argument, claim, reason, evidence, source)

Due: Wednesday, 4/1/20

Turn In:  Not Today- You will add the remaining words on Wednesday

As we begin our argument unit, it’s important that you understand the terms we will use to discuss strong arguments.  Today, you will create a slide for 5 terms.  The first term has been done as an example.  Each slide needs the term, definition, and an image to represent the word.  You may use clipart, a picture, etc.  Be sure to watch the lesson video for additional instructions.

 

Reminder:  Don’t forget to read for 20 minutes today!  Record your time on your reading log.

Tuesday 3/31

Read for 20 minutes, and continue adding to your reading log.

Check your Writing Success/Lit Apps teacher’s  blog for today’s assignment. 

Wednesday 4/1

Assignment:  Last 5 Argument Terms PowerPoint Slides

Due:  Today! (4/1/20)

Turn In:  Use this Form to upload your PowerPoint

Your assignment today is to complete your Argument Unit Terms PowerPoint.  You completed slides 1-5 on Monday for these terms: argument, claim, reason, evidence, source.  Today, you will add the last five terms: relevant, credible, plagiarism, citation, formal style.

Friday 4/3

  1. Read for 20 minutes and document on your reading log
  2.  Today’s assignment is from your Lit Apps teacher.  Please check her blog for today’s assignment.
