1)How Can Humans Inhabit Mars Introduction  Download How Can Humans Inhabit Mars Introduction

We have been learning about Mars and working on our Mars Payload Design Challenge all semester, so now we are going to start thinking about human habitation of Mars.  The week before we went to the Challenger Center, we completed a chart comparing Earth and Mars (this should be in your Target notebook).  In that chart was a lot of information about environmental conditions on Mars. This week, you will read an article titled “Safe on Mars”  and you will be answering some questions and brainstorming a list of environmental conditions on Mars that might make living there very difficult.  I am also attaching a book called “Safety on Mars” which has some very interesting information.  If you look at the table of contents, you will see that several chapters pertain to environmental conditions on Mars and this book will be a great resource for you in the coming weeks.
