Mrs. Franco's Class

Here's what is happening in our class!

We have had a BUSY week!!!  We have been learning about the properties of multiplication, suffixes, and map/globes.  We will begin learning about the European Explorers.  You should have received the information about the project.  If you returned the half sheet of paper – I sent home the directions you need for the project chosen.  We enjoyed our ice cream compliment party this afternoon.  They may or may not have had  A LOT of ice cream (and a cupcake at lunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday)!!  We hope everyone enjoys the break!!  Sharpen the saw and come back ready to go!!!  THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO!!

We are beginning to need extra EXPO DRY ERASE MARKERS!!  If you would like to donate…please and thank you!!

Wear Pajamas for $1.00- Nov. 17th

Did you know that more than 45,000 kids experience homelessness each year in Georgia? November is National Homeless Youth Awareness Month.   The Lighthouse Team wants to do something about helping out those children in need. They are partnering up with the CCYA and  sponsoring an event called “The Pajama Pants Challenge”!  On November 17th, if students donate $1.00, they may wear their pajamas to school.  It’s a win-win!  Kids get to wear their PJ’s and we help kids in need.  All proceeds benefit The Center for Children & Young Adults (CCYA).
