It’s December and that means it’s time for a new month of fun in the Learning Commons.
All month long we are going to be playing a game with our Gingerbread Man! Each day, a clue will be posted outside the Learning Commons. See if you can use the clue to find the hidden Gingerbread Man. If you find him, let Mrs. Allen know and your name will be entered into a drawing to win a book on the 20th!

Thanks for a wonderful year! It went by so fast. Once again Cobb Schools are partnering up with Cobb Public library to encourage reading over the summer. Please visit http://www.cobbsummerreading.com/ for some great reading resources.
Here are Pickett’s Mill, we will be having a reading celebration in the fall for all students who read at least 600 minutes by the end of the first week of school. Students can jot their reading times/dates on a sheet of paper and turn it in to your teacher in the fall OR you can log your minutes on Scholastic’s Summer Reading site at http://www.scholastic.com/ups/campaigns/src-2017/kids. Students received a sheet of paper with a label attached that had their log in information attached.
Have a great summer and get out there and read!
