  2. Read poems “Penelope” by Dorothy Parker and “Odysseus” by Merwin.  Compare the two characters and the author’s tone toward the situation in each.

  2. Read “Ulysses” by Alfred, Lord Tennyson
  3. Construct a poem to compliment your Where I’m From.  This time it should be a retrospective like Ithaka or Ulysses.
