Ask your 4th grader about Native Americans

Most of the 4th grade classes have had an opportunity to begin exploring the Native American groups. They will soon be working on projects about a specific group.  Please contact the Library if you need assistance finding additional resources.  Ask your student about the Cobb Digital Library and have them demonstrate it for you! Enjoy these  photos of students hard at work and a glimpse of their work.

Off to a good start!

We reached Labor Day weekend and the library is off to a good start.  All of the classes have been through orientation and everyone should have plenty of reading material.  Keep on reading those books over the long weekend because the Reading Program officially begins in September. Review your grade-level goal and download logs as needed from the Reading Program Page. Good Luck!

Fourth Graders have been busy in the library this week with a lesson on the New Cobb Digital Library and researching Native American groups. The students have done a fantastic job of finding the information needed for their work and upcoming projects on the different tribes. Check back soon for some photos of them at work and some student work examples.

Enjoy the long weekend and read a good book!
