MATH 6:  Find the Reflections practice for homework.  Be working on USA Test Prep assignments.  They will be due Monday.  Do not wait until Sunday night to start.  I happy to see most of you have already done quite a number of practice tests.  Good for you.  Don’t be too concerned with your scores, just try to figure out why your answers were wrong by looking back through your MSG notes.

MATH 7:  Finish the review packet by completing constructed response questions #8 (Part A and B), #16, and #20. All the multiple choice problems should have been finished already.  Please be working on your USA Test Prep domain tests.  Three will be due by Monday.  If you choose to do all 5 then I will let the others count as extra credit.  It is really to your advantage to practice as much as you can, but I know sometimes time can be a factor!

Tuesday, April 18

MATH 6 and MATH 7 (4th block):    You won’t come to class on Wednesday due to the change in schedule because of testing.  I’ll see you Thursday and Friday of this week.  Take a few minutes to work on USA Test Prep but test practice won’t be due until Monday.  I encourage you to do a little bit each day instead of trying to cram it all in on one day.  Get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast tomorrow.

MATH 7 (3rd Period):  See you in class tomorrow after the Milestones.  We will be eating lunch together through next Tuesday.  Work a little each day on USA Test Prep, but remember the assignments won’t be due until Monday.  Don’t wait until the last minute!  Come in with questions you feel like you need to review.  Get  a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast!

MATH 6 and MATH 7:  Be sure to work on the USA Test prep assignments.  You have five domains to practice and take tests. You should also be reading back through your MSG/OMG notebook in preparation for the Milestones.  The Math parts will be on Monday and Tuesday of next week.  You may use a regular or scientific calculator on Tuesday so you need to bring it in to your homeroom teacher by Friday.  If you have  a scientific calculator the memory must be cleared. Be aware that although you may use a calculator, they will not be provided by your teacher.  You must bring in your own to use.  No phone calculators will be permitted!

Tuesday, April 11

Make sure you have created an account for USA Test Prep.  Try to login at home (only if you have created an account) and join my class.  We will be using the ipads in class tomorrow to practice for the Milestones.

MATH 6:  HW:  p. 851, #1-16.  Don’t worry if you have trouble with absolute value questions because we didn’t have much time to spend on that today.  Do your best and look back at the examples in your book on p. 849 for extra help.

MATH 7:  HW:  Yellow Review Booklet is due Thursday, April 13 for both classes!  Be looking over the foldables and notes in your OMG to help you prepare for the Milestones.

Monday, April 10

Welcome Back!  Hope everyone enjoyed their break from school and is ready to finish the year strong!

MATH 7:  Today we tried to take care of unfinished business.  Most students created an account for USA Test Prep. We will start with some assignments on Wednesday.  HW:  Finish any unfinished classwork–Polar Puzzle, Insect Probability, and Basic Probability worksheets.
