Our 1st grade performance is THIS THURSDAY EVENING at 6:30 pm
We will hold rehearsals this week during the school day for this performance. All are welcome to the performance on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm!
On Thursday evening, please drop your first grader off at the end of the hallway at 6:15pm and then go grab your seat in the cafeteria for the show! The PTA meeting starts at 6:30pm and the performance will immediately follow the meeting. Once the performance is over, you will come back to the classroom to pick up your first grader and go straight home for a good night’s sleep! See you then!
You’re invited to our Book Fair!

Let’s Celebrate Read Across America and Dr. Seuss!
Dr. Seuss’s birthday is March 2. We will be celebrating by having special dress-up days each day. They are:
Monday, February 26 – Fox n’Socks – Wear silly or mismatched socks.
Tuesday, February 27 – Green eggs and ham – Wear the color green
Wednesday, February 28 – Wacky Wednesday – Wear your shirt inside out or backwards
Thursday, March 1 – Oh the places you’ll go – Wear your favorite college shirt
Friday, March 2 – Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss – Dress as your favorite Dr. Seuss character.
Sprayberry students will be at Bells Ferry to help us promote reading.
It was like herding kittens all day! Thanks to the parents who came, I appreciate you!
Friday, October 27, is our Pettit Creek Farm and Pumpkin Patch field trip! We have 100% of our students paid up and permission slips are turned in, as well!
Don’t forget if you are bringing a lunch from home it needs to be in a disposable container. If you are purchasing a sack lunch from school it will already be packed in a disposable container, so no worries!
Parents for $11 you can MEET US AT THE GATE AT PETTIT CREEK FARMS AT 10 AM for some scarecrow games and farm fun!!! Can’t wait to see you there!
Thank you parents for making our student led conferences a success! We had 100% of the parents attend (even if all of our first graders weren’t able to come, we still did great!) Students shared leadership notebooks, what they are learning and what goals they have made! Thank you, parents! We couldn’t do it without YOU!!!
Come one, come all!!!
