Homework: Many of you, despite my prompting, pleading, cajoling, and begging, have failed to complete the chapter questions as we read the book. You have 50 minutes of class each day in which to do this. When you choose not to do your work, I cannot do anything to help you. I am alarmed at the amount of students in 5th period who simply sit and watch their grade slowly turn from A’s and B’s to D’s and F’s. The novel unit was designed to be a laid back way to end the quarter. If you are missing anything, the questions are on Mrs. Copening’s blog. The .pdf of “The Outsiders” is quite easily found on the internet. We will have the quiz over chapters 5-8 on Friday. Use Mrs. Copening’s blog to review.
