Pre-Course Honors U.S. History Assignment(s)

  • Outline’s will only be given out in class.  These are for you to use  as you like with our power point notes.  Power Points will be posted as we go / weekly.  ** NOTE, Honors and On Level are different outlines.
  • Each student will be assigned a book that is to STAY IN THE CLASSROOM.  There is an online text.  Use your student vue to access the text.  If i’m able to post a link I will as well.
  • You will be able to see basic “agenda” outline here for what we are doing this week.  I try to add as needed, but mostly is an outlook of the week and can easily change for various reasons.
  • Most “homework” is/are items that we do not finish in class and I have instructed them to finish at home.  We don’t have a lot of “assigned” homework.  STUDY is their primary homework
  • Test every roughly 3 weeks.  Quizzes in between test dates.

We will be watching US History related films to fill in for the week and half that we have left together.  There ARE and WILL BE assignments that correspond with each film.  We have been grinding all semester.  All information is in and all your study guides are complete!

 

During Exams:  We will be taking a UNIT test that is cumulative.  Test is roughly 75 questions and counts as a UNIT test.  the 20% EOC is your true final exam.  Below is a handout that has been given in class that is for preparation of the last unit test.
