Wow…I can’t believe that it is the last day of March! What a whirlwind this month has been.
My hope is that you have a routine and Digital Learning is running smoothly. I am here for any questions, concerns or support you have. WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!
Please connect to Seesaw. You can download the app (seesaw class). Then you are able to complete activities and send me videos. I have really enjoyed seeing all the activities and videos that have been created so far. If you are unable to get on please email me or send me a remind message. I will resend the link to get you connected.
As we continue to learn and grow through this new way of learning and teaching, we will be video chatting each week! We have our Zoom chat this Thursday, April 2nd at 1pm. Check your email to see the video chat invitation. This week have your child bring a book he/she has read to share with the class.
I will continue to update the blog with resources to enhance and/or extend your child’s learning. If you click on the learning resource tab you will find a variety of resources your child can use in reading and math.

Below is a picture of our plans for First Grade Digital Learning and an attachment. Try to have your child getting on Dreambox Learning and Raz-Kids. I am able to assign activities for your child and see your child’s progress.

For the next two weeks of learning (March 30th-April 3rd and April 13th-17th), we will be learning about George Washington Carver in Social Studies. Please click on the Social Studies tab at the top of this blog. It includes some resources and videos that your child can watch to learn more about George Washington Carver.. Every week will be add more resources/videos in the Social Studies tab. I am going to keep the Ruby Bridges resources available. You will see those resources below George Washington Carver.
