Digital Learning-March 31st

Wow…I can’t believe that it is the last day of March! What a whirlwind this month has been.

My hope is that you have a routine and Digital Learning is running smoothly.  I am here for any questions, concerns or support you have.  WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER!

Please connect to Seesaw.  You can download the app (seesaw class).  Then you are able to complete activities and send me videos.  I have really enjoyed seeing all the activities and videos that have been created so far.  If you are unable to get on please email me or send me a remind message.  I will resend the link to get you connected.

As we continue to learn and grow through this new way of learning and teaching, we will be video chatting each week!  We have our Zoom chat  this Thursday, April 2nd at 1pmCheck your email to see the video chat invitation.  This week have your child bring a book he/she has read to share with the class.

I will continue to update the blog with resources to enhance and/or extend your child’s learning.   If you click on the learning resource tab you will find a variety of resources your child can use in reading and math.

Please click on the Social Studies tab at the top of this blog.  It includes some resources and videos that your child can watch to learn more about George Washington Carver..  Every week will be add more resources/videos in the Social Studies tab. I am going to keep the Ruby Bridges resources available.  You will see those resources below George Washington Carver.

Hello Families!

We are all doing the best we can! I appreciate each and everyone of you.  Please reach out and let me know what I can do to help.

I have have sent out invites via email and remind to join our class Seesaw account.  This is another way for us to stay in contact.  Your child will be able to complete activities and submit them to me.  I will be able to comment back to your child that way he/she will get feedback on his/her learning.  I have added three activities to explore this week. If you have trouble getting in let me know so I can help get you set up.

As we continue to learn and grow through this new way of learning and teaching, I will be trying to come up with ways that the students and I can communicate via face to face through digital resources. We will learn together! I plan to have our first class meeting this Friday.  Be on the look out for the invitation!

I have tried a lot of different things personally with my own children’s digital learning adventures.  We have had some great days and some not so great days. Hello Families!

We made it to day FOUR of digital learning!!! I hope all is going well. I miss each of the kiddos and can’t wait until we are back together again.

I have noticed some of the class is getting on Raz-Kids and Dreambox Learning.  Please keep it up! I am able to see how your child is doing in math and reading.  In Raz-Kids I can  send messages to your child.  I sent quite a few messages to the kids that have been reading on Raz-Kids yesterday and would love to send out even more. If you are unable to get on Dreambox Learning or Raz-Kids please read out to me.  I will help anyway that I can.
