Hello Families!

Thank you so much to Colin and his family for dropping off his Take Home Reading Bag! I greatly appreciate it.  If you are unsure what the Take Home Reading bags look like I have added a picture below.

Yesterday was great seeing everyone on Zoom.  I have decided to have one more ZOOM meeting next week.  It will probably be at 11:00 am on Tuesday.

DIGITAL LEARNING PLANS

Below is a picture of our plans for First Grade Digital Learning and an attachment. Try to have your child getting on Dreambox Learning and Raz-Kids.  I am able to assign activities for your child and see your child’s progress.

 

Digital Learning May 11-15

If you click on the tab at the top of the blog labeled Digital Learning you can see all the digital learning lessons.

If you child needs a break from Dreambox Learning, there are a couple of options for him/her:

Go to Prodigy-your child has a login and password.  If you would like username/password please let me know.

Go to Freckle-this is in Clever.  You just login to clever and then click on Freckle. Class Code is FREETN

If you child needs a break from Raz-Kids, there are a couple of options for him/her:

Go to EPIC.com-I sent emails to sign up for this program.  If you need the information please let me know.

If you would like an online resource for Phonics/WordWork:

We have a new reading program that is available for free until the end of the school year.  It is called EPIC.  I have assigned some reading books for your child to read. This is an alternative to Raz-Kids.  EPIC has an app or you can use desktop/laptop. The Class Code For EPIC: asu4919I  have sent you invites via your email address.  If you did not get it or if I do not have the email your currently use please let me know.

Please connect to Seesaw.  You can download the app (seesaw class).  Then you are able to complete activities and send me videos.  I have really enjoyed seeing all the activities and videos that have been created so far.  If you are unable to get on please email me or send me a remind message.  I will resend the link to get you connected.

I will continue to update the blog with resources to enhance and/or extend your child’s learning.   If you click on the learning resource tab you will find a variety of resources your child can use in reading and math.
