Reading Bowl letters will be sent home in April. Please return the interest letters by April 25, 2018
If your child is interested, he/she will be assigned a book to read and to write questions. Instructions will be sent home. The Cobb competition will be held on January 19, 2019 at a local Cobb school.
The reading list for the 2018-2019 competition may be found on the Georgia Children’s Book Award site.
Submit questions for books through Quizlet: www.quizlet.com

Click “create a study set”
Set Title: Title of book – your FIRST NAME and LAST INITIAL (Example: The False Prince-Amy C.)
Type your questions on the left under “terms” and answers on the right under “definitions”. Include the page number next to the answer in case we need to check it.
Click the + symbol to write additional questions.
Click “create” when compete.
-Remember to submit at least twenty questions per book.
-Do not create multiple sets for one book. You can go back and edit your sets – add to them at different times.
-Do not edit any other sets of questions other than your own.
Questions must be written in the following format:

1. Write your questions as you read. Keep paper and pencil with you so that you write them as you read.
2. Type your questions later.
3. Do not write “Yes/No” questions, “True/False” questions, or long-answer questions.
4. Submit questions with an ipad and use the microphone feature.
