December Notes…

Hi everybody! The semester is coming to a close and soon we’ll be on holiday break!

3rd, 4th, & 5th graders — If you are planning on entering the Cobb Regional Technology Competition in January — the deadline is fast approaching – here is the link
Remember that you don’t have to have finished your project for competition, you can continue to work on it until the January 27 competition date – but you must register by next week – December 15!

Testing and Target Classes

This week is the final week of Target classes for 1st, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades for this semester!  Ms. Zhun and Mrs. Reddish will be administering gifted testing from November 27th through December 20.  This semester has flown by!  We’ll be back on our regular schedule after the December holiday break.  Please continue to check this blog, as additional announcements may arise. Thank you for your understanding and patience with this process.

We are back from Fall Break and back to our regular schedule!  Important reminder to 3rd grade Gifted — some of you still have not logged in to Edmodo site yet!!  Please get that done immediately before the class closes and locks you out!

Welcome to Advanced Learning at the Jack!

Target Classes begin the week of August 7, 2017.  Teachers will pick students up from their classrooms on their designated Target day.  Students, please remember to bring a snack and a water bottle.

  • A combined Gifted Open House with Ms. Zhun, Mrs. Reddish and Mrs. Salter is this Friday, August 11 at 8:00 a.m.  We hope you can join us!
  • Do you think your child is gifted?  An information session on Cobb’s Gifted Eligibility process will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 11 following the Open House.
