Announcements:

  • I will be putting in the grades for the first two modules on Monday 5/18 at Noon.

  • At least the first two modules will be graded for accuracy. Remember, you can retake the modules as many times as you like to get the grade that you want. I will only be able to see the highest grade that you have received on the module. Therefore, if your retake it and make a lower grade, it will not matter because I only see the highest grade you make.

Lesson:

For the remainder of the year we are going to be working on personal finance.  With this unit we have found a really cool program where you go through life making different economic decisions.  It starts off with your character as a young adult going all the way through adulthood so you can see the importance of personal finance in the real world.  Usually we set this up in the classroom, so please be flexible if there are some kinks as we get going.

  1.  Click HERE for the link to get started. When you click the link it will prompt you on what to do. It may also ask you which course to take, if so… click “Future Smart.”
  2. Once you get in to the program you will complete as many modules as you can within our 30 min a day time frame.  Since there are several modules this will take us through the whole week.
  3. If you have questions about the set up please feel free to email me.  Unfortunately I cannot sign in as a student, so it is going to take a couple of y’all to trouble shoot the issues for me.  Please check back here for updates on issues that may arise.
