Lesson from Ms. Monstrola

Dear Parents,

I hope that everyone is staying well and finding ways to enjoy this time with your families! One of my roles as the school counselor at Lewis is to provide social/emotional classroom lessons for all 4th grade students, usually about twice each month. If we were in school this week, I would have been visiting your child’s classroom for one of our counseling lessons. Since we can’t do this one in person, I’m sending you a lesson that they can complete from home. Just click on the link below to get started. Once you get to the opening screen, your child can simply enter their name and click “join session”. If it requests an access code, I have that listed below as well. The lesson does include sound, so be sure to have your volume turned on.

Please note this lesson is an optional activity, not something that your child must complete. Of course, I would love for ALL of my students to participate, but if they have reached their limit for today, it’s OK. You can always tuck it away for another day. Remember that I am accessible by email during this time away from school, so please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything that I can do to support you and your child(ren).
