Hello Kiddos,

I am overwhelmed by the amount of Holiday cheer I have received from all of you.  The warm wishes, cards, candy, BUTTERFINGERS :), gifts, and sentiments have filled my heart to the top.  I want to thank each and every one of you for the opportunity to be your teacher, and just as I hope you learn from me, I want you to know that I learn from you as well!  I certainly count all of the wonderful students and families here at Durham as blessings, and this week has been filled with reminders of how truly fortunate I am to be part of this outstanding community.

There is no assigned homework over the break.  Taking a few minutes to clean out your binders, refill your pencil pouches, and restock your supplies (especially tape, dry-erase markers, highlighters, etc.) is a good idea.  Make sure you come back in January ready to take on the second half of 6th grade.

See you in 2018!
