Hello Kiddos,

Today in class we completed the Unit 3 Review TKO.  You selected a category or questions to complete (light weight, medium weight, or heavy weight) to build on your starting score of 70%.  If you did not finish this in class you may complete it at home.  Turn this assignment in by FRIDAY.  Remember, your test is tomorrow, so complete your study guide tonight to help you prepare.  Your test is not open note.  Speaking of notes, remember to bring your MSG to class tomorrow since it will be collected and graded.

See you tomorrow. 🙂

Hello Kiddos,

There is no assigned  homework tonight since all the blocks took a quiz.  I did want to take a moment to remind all of you that tomorrow is the last day for the canned food drive.  Thank you for all of the generous donations you have sent in so far, they will be used to help local families in need.

If you have not downloaded the PBIS app, please remember that you can do so to check on your weekly points. You can download the app through the play store or iTunes, and follow the instructions for setting up an account.  You can also use the website  https://app.pbisrewards.com/login.php to set up an account and view your points.  Not demonstrating punctuality, respect, preparedness, or cooperation are behaviors that earn strikes.  Checking your strike balance is a great way to stay on top of your citizenship and to change your direction if necessary.

See you tomorrow, kiddos.  Have a nice Tuesday. 🙂

Hello Kiddos,

Today in class we continued to practice with factoring and distributing to write equivalent expressions.  Tuesday, November 13th, you will have a quiz that covers distributing, factoring, substituting, and translating algebraic expressions.  Here is a link to a quizizz to help you study.  https://join.quizizz.com . Game code is 241061.  These are the kinds of questions you can expect to see on the quiz.

There is no homework this weekend other than to have a nice weekend.  See you Monday. 🙂

Hello Kiddos,

Today in class we took MSG notes on parts of an expression and learned about the distributive property.  Tonight’s homework is practice sheet I passed out in class.  3 of the 10 problems (30%) are in your MSG, so use those examples to help guide your independent practice.

Have a great evening!  🙂
