Hello, kiddos!  Talk about the HOME STRETCH!  You are almost there.  Thanks for coming back to check on your tasks for the day.  Here they are:

Social Studies:  As we continue learning about finance and money, this is a good place to introduce some information about the Stock Market.  There are no forms to fill out or questions to answer, just 3 little videos to watch.  They are all animated, short, and engaging.  The first link is a clip about the stock market – how it started through today.  The second link is how stock exchanges work.  The third video tells you how to read a stock table.  There is a lot of important information on a stock table, and one day if you plan to be a gazillionaire from the stock market, you should know how to read one too. 🙂

Math: Today we are going to learn about multiplying and dividing integers.  Before we dive into the lesson, I want to remind you that ALL of this will be reviewed in 7th grade.  We just want to introduce you to these concepts, you will have plenty of time to gain mastery with integer operations next year.  Here are your tasks for the day:

  1. Watch this video about real life applications of multiplication of negative numbers.  IF THIS VIDEO TELLS YOU TO SIGN IN OR CREATE AN ACCOUNT PLEASE JUST SKIP IT.  YOU DO NOT NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT. Learnzillion
  2. Watch this video about multiplication and division of integers.  The narrator goes through a few examples, so you may want to have something to write on and something to write with so you can work through guided examples. Multiplication and Division of Integers
